Mental health- more dangerous than Physical health
People do talk about keeping our health physically fit but, aren't they aware of mental health?
You may be fit and fine physically but if your mental health is not good, It's a matter of big deal for you! Generally, people think that talking about depression, stress, anxiety or whatever is kinda shameful and no one will listen and understand them. But, sometimes dealing alone with this kind of situation becomes hard.
A few months ago, I was depressed. Call it whether inferiority complex or whatever, but that time I had a thought in my mind which keeps me feel antsy all the time & that was " Why people can't understand my opinion and they tell me that you're not NORMAL like us, You're weird?" My classmates told me once that you're a Psycho.
From my school life to my college life, One thing which I realized that my thinking process was different from others. Yes, I have a lack of common sense then and now but it doesn't mean that I'm dumb/ fool. I was a Slow learner kid from my childhood and it took a lot of time for me to understand the common things like tying a knot, holding a pencil and writing and etc. You don't need a certificate from society for your social acceptance.
I am a person with short height and people used to make fun of me for being a dwarf including my siblings and relatives whether knowingly or unknowingly. Many other things make me feel depressed somehow. But I cope up with that and told this to myself that "I am Born with it. And if I can't change these flaws then why to feel sad and cry? And if I can change, then surely I will do it and become a better person than ever before.
I consulted with Psychologist and my parents and this made me realize that YES, I AM NOT A NORMAL PERSON. IN FACT, I AM A SPECIAL ONE WITH SPECIAL AMBITION. Being Unique in a crowd is not a bad thing.
Also, at that time I was mentally ill and this made my health, too poor! So if you're mentally healthy it's good.
Consulting can make you go out of this situation.
There's no shame in taking care of your mental health! Express what you feel, cry openly (Both men & women) in front of your close ones. Don't hesitate and do talk about your stressful condition and make your life happier than ever!
